'Green Salad Bowl' won the All-America Selections award in 1952, and 'Red Salad Bowl' won the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1995. Successive sowings will produce sweet lettuce spring through late fall! We've filled this packet with a whopping 2.5 grams of seed, enough for a small, fresh greens farm!

- When to Sow Outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks before your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is at least 40°F, ideally 60°–70°F. Successive Sowings: Every 3 weeks until 4 to 6 weeks before your average first fall frost date. Mild Climates: Sow in fall and winter for cool season harvests.
