Douglas fir chamfered cut roost bar is rot resistant and strong. It’s wrapped in rope to create a more natural feel for chickens, just like when they roosted before the time of chicken coops.

Veterinarian recommended for the prevention and treatment of bumblefoot because it allows for air flow underneath your bird’s feet. The roost bar is an ideal width with chamfered cuts allow for chickens to grip the roost bar comfortably without their feet being flat.

• Easily removable, each roost bar comes with two high-density polyethylene sockets and four screws so they can be attached to any henhouse.

• Our rope covered roost bars create a more natural feel for your chickens, just like when they would roost before the time of chicken coops. The width is 2 ¾″ x 2″ - due to the rope wrapped around the roost bar - and comes in 4′, 6′ or 8′ lengths.
• Care & Maintenance: Our roost bars are removable. If you need to clean them (which we feel you shouldn't have to) you can remove them, hose them down and let them dry in the sun.
