This specialty hemp bedding is ideal for the flooring of deep litter henhouses / chicken coops. Known as the most absorbent animal bedding on the market, it offers a low dust option that is both compostable and sustainable. The recommended ratio for use is one to two bales for a 4'×6' henhouse.

Our hemp bedding is sourced from a reputable North American supplier who has customized a special blend specifically for our chickens. Made specifically for Carolina Coops as a proprietary blend for maximum absorbency and softness. This blend utilizes various fiber sizes to ensure optimal absorbency and comfort.

  • Shipping will be through UPS 
  • We cannot ship to PO Boxes
  • Due to concerns for the health and safety of the chickens, we cannot accept returns on the bales of hemp. 
  • Cancelled orders will be subject to processing fees. 
  • Weight will vary due to the hemp being a natural product and is subject to environmental factors.
